Most Dogs are Shipped as Cargo unless other Arrangements are made. Most of the Airlines will not Ship a Animal unless the Temperature is Between 40 degrees and 80 degrees F. Tempature Changes down in the Cargo area can be Dangerous to Animals. So Therefore... It must be between 45 to 85 Degrees Going from point A to point B. From Me to You!
Let me give ya some the Example of what if:
If the Tempature is Below 45 degrees a Animal could Freeze to Death
Or
If the Tempature is over 85 degrees a Animal will Overheat and Die
Some of the Flights can be very Long and the Dog will be left on the Plane without means to relieve itself. Or if the Plane Flight has a Change and Layover the Animals are left on the Tar Mac(Runway) for Hours. So even if a Flight is only a Couple Hours Long it can be very Stressful to a Animal of any Age to be Shipped.
Shipping Cost:
Shipping a Animal can be very Stressful and Upsetting to it. So I would Love to Meet you and You meet all my Gang Here! So maybe if You or a Love one is coming this Way to Denton Texas or Near Dallas area. For a Visit or Vacation. The Airlines offer for a extra 50.00 might be more. But please check with your Airline carrier to be sure of cost and what is required for the dog to travel with you in the cabin. Especially lately eachway the dog can ride on the Plane with you in a crate under your seat. So if their is Lay Overs Scheduled you can Play and Visit and Potty the Animal. That Way we will all feel more Secure Knowing the Animal is with Someone who Loves and Care about it. Well Hope to Hear from Ya!

Now for shipping Continental Airlines has been charging me lately 190.00 to 250.00 (10/07/07) for shipping in the USA could vary State to State so Don't Quote me now. That is Quick Pak service the dogs are shipped in a temperature control compartment in cargo. I need at least a 24 hour notice in most cases before shipping the dog to the destination you will be at. When the weather is cooler (below 85 degrees and above 45 degrees) I use several different Airlines. Delta, Norwest if they will allow live animals on the plane and the flight is from DFW Airport to the Designated Airport your going to be at I will make the arrangements for the dog to fly with that desired Airlines. Now Also if you would like the dog insured that is also a extra fee added on to the shipping cost. It will cover the dog if something happens to it. Cost usely extra 20.00 more or less.
